The Return of Turbo – Familiar Freedom, Reimagined
Sometimes, you don't need to reinvent what already works
Some shoes never really disappear.
They stay alive in memories, old photographs, and in the messages we receive from customers years later asking, “Do you still make that style?”
With the new Turbo collection, we're bringing those shoes back.

Not as a nostalgic tribute, but because we know how good they were. Because people loved them. Because they proved what a great shoe should do: feel light, move naturally, and provide lasting comfort.
This new collection features our most beloved Turbo models. The original bestsellers that have accompanied thousands of people through everyday life. Alongside them, we've reintroduced several classic styles that were part of our collection more than ten years ago and were incredibly popular at the time.
Familiar favourites, refreshed with vibrant summer colours and a fresh seasonal look.
Light, flexible, and close to the ground
Turbo has always had a character of its own.
These shoes are lightweight, flexible, and minimalist by design. They protect the foot where needed while allowing natural movement and a strong connection to the ground beneath you.
The feeling reminds us of an early summer morning. The sun is rising, the grass is still cool, and the day is full of possibilities. Perhaps you're heading out for a walk, strolling through a market, or finishing a yoga session outdoors.
Turbo creates the feeling that there is as little as possible between you and the world around you.
Nothing heavy.
Nothing complicated.
Just movement, the way it was meant to be.

Old favourites, fresh colours
When redeveloping this collection, our goal was simple: preserve everything that made these shoes special.
That's why we stayed true to the original shapes, familiar fits, and trusted designs that so many customers have enjoyed for years.
What's new?
The colours.
Fresh summer shades, contemporary combinations, and a few unexpected colourways that give these familiar models a new energy while staying true to their identity.
The result is a collection that feels both familiar and refreshingly new.

A new chapter in Izmir
Behind this collection lies a story that has been years in the making.

For the development of the new Turbo group, we started working with a new manufacturing partner in Izmir, on Turkey's western coast. Over the past several years, we've visited the factory multiple times, gradually building a relationship based on trust, craftsmanship, and a shared vision of quality.
Together with my father and my brother, I travelled to Izmir to see the process with my own eyes. Those visits became much more than factory inspections. They offered a glimpse into a region where shoemaking, craftsmanship, trade, and creativity have been intertwined for generations.

Izmir is a fascinating place. The city sits between sea, hills, and fertile countryside, carrying layers of history that can be felt everywhere. Walking through its streets, you encounter a unique blend of influences, cultures, colours, and traditions that have shaped the region over centuries. There is an openness and energy that feels both Mediterranean and unmistakably Turkish.
What struck me most was how naturally craftsmanship and creativity come together here.

In the workshops and production facilities, technical expertise is everywhere. But alongside that expertise is a willingness to experiment, improve, and refine. Ideas are discussed, details are questioned, and solutions are developed together. It is a place where making things well still matters.
That spirit felt familiar to us.
At Loints of Holland, we have always believed that good shoes are created through collaboration, patience, and attention to detail. Seeing those same values reflected in the people we work with in Izmir gave us confidence that this was the right place to continue the story of Turbo.
Every visit strengthened that feeling.
The result is a collection that combines trusted designs with new energy, built through a partnership that has grown steadily over the years.
Looking back at the photographs from those trips, I realise they tell more than the story of a new collection. They tell the story of people, places, shared meals, conversations, craftsmanship, and the many small decisions that ultimately shape a pair of shoes.

The foundations remain unchanged
While the production is new, the essence of Turbo remains exactly the same.
We continue to use the same trusted lasts that have shaped the fit of our shoes for many years. A well-designed last is the foundation of comfort and determines how a shoe feels from the very first step.
We also continue working with the same sole supplier we have relied on for many years.
That matters.
The sole plays a fundamental role in how a shoe feels, moves, and performs. Especially in a collection like Turbo, where flexibility, lightness, and natural movement are central, the sole is one of the most important elements.
You could say that the foundations remain unchanged:
- The trusted lasts.
- The trusted soles.
- The trusted models.
- The trusted philosophy.
Combined with fresh colours, renewed energy, and a new chapter in their story.
Welcome back, Turbo
Some collections feel familiar from the very first moment.
Turbo is one of them.
A collection built around our most beloved styles, complemented by classics that many customers have missed for years. Lightweight, flexible, and designed for people who love to move naturally.
For those who wore them years ago.
And for those discovering them for the very first time.
Welcome back, Turbo.
