Design: pure & simplicity

Our design language consists of unlined leather and pure, simple construction.
Combined with the use of sustainable materials and manufacture it results in a unique look. With our creativity, your natural shoes are full of vibrant colors and beautiful, which will give your wardrobe a unique twist.

We strive to reduce the negative effects on the environment and health. The goals of a pure design are to reduce the consumption of non-renewable resources, minimize waste and create a healthy environment. Through our design decisions, we make an impact on sustainable development.

In practice, there are some general principles for how we approach a pure, sustainable design:
- Low-impact materials: We choose natural and recycled rubber and LWG Gold-certified leather. This is leather without PCP, benzidine and uses 40% less water than regular tanneries.
- Repairable: Our shoes are designed so that it is possible to easily replace specific worn parts.
- Waste management: Waste is already considered in the design of our shoes; for example, some pattern pieces fit together precisely to reduce cutting waste.
- Energy efficiency: Our products are designed with as little stitching, pattern pieces and handling as possible. This way, we use less energy.
- Material diversity: We have chosen to minimize the number of different materials to promote disassembly and value retention.
- Life cycle: Our products are timelessly designed and are durable enough to last a lifetime.
- Detailing: Our shoes require no lining, eyelets or other details.
